Riyadh: Weather conditions across several regions of Saudi Arabia are expected to remain challenging, with gusty winds and blowing dust affecting parts of the Northern Borders, Eastern, and Riyadh regions. These conditions are likely to extend to the eastern parts of Qassim Region and sections of Madinah and Makkah regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds are anticipated in parts of Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha regions. The wind over the Red Sea will be predominantly northwesterly to westerly, with speeds ranging from 20-40 km/h in the northern region and 15-35 km/h in the central and southern areas, potentially reaching up to 50 km/h near the Gulf of Aqaba. The sea conditions will vary from calm to moderate, with wave heights between half a meter and two meters.
In the Arabian Gulf, the northern and central parts will experience northwesterly to westerly winds, shifting to southwesterly in the northern region during the evening at speeds of 12-35 km/h. The southern part will witness westerly to southwesterly winds at 10-28 km/h. Wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, with the sea remaining calm to moderate.
