Gusty Winds and Thunderstorms Expected Across Several Regions

Riyadh: Weather conditions are set to become challenging on Thursday, as gusty and dust-stirring winds are expected to sweep across several regions including Madinah, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Qassim, Riyadh, and Eastern areas. Thunderstorms are also anticipated to develop over the highlands of the Aseer Region. According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted that winds over the Red Sea will vary in direction and speed, being northwesterly to westerly in the northern and central parts at speeds of 20-50 km/h, and shifting to southeasterly to northeasterly in the southern part at speeds of 10-28 km/h. Wave heights will range from half a meter to two and a half meters, with the sea conditions fluctuating from calm to choppy. In the Arabian Gulf, the wind pattern will be northwesterly to westerly, changing to southwesterly in the evening in the northern part, with speeds of 12-38 km/h, and reaching up to 48 km/h in the central and southern parts. The wave heigh ts are predicted to vary from half a meter to two meters, and the sea is expected to be calm to choppy.
