Riyadh: Weather conditions across various regions in Saudi Arabia are expected to be affected by gusty winds and potential rain on Monday.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted that Najran, Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region may experience significant weather changes, including the possibility of rain. In addition, fog formation is anticipated in these areas, as well as in parts of Qassim, Hail, the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, and Tabuk.
The weather report further details that winds over the Red Sea will vary, with northerly to northwesterly winds reaching speeds of 12-38 km/h in the northern and central parts. In the southern part, winds will shift from southwesterly to northwesterly, with speeds between 10-50 km/h. Wave heights in the Red Sea are expected to range from half a meter to over two meters, resulting in conditions that vary from calm to choppy seas.
In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast indicates that wind patterns will transition from southeasterly to southwesterly, eventually becoming northwesterly. Wind speeds in the northern and central parts are expected to be between 12-35 km/h, while in the southern part, they will vary from northeasterly to northwesterly at speeds of 15-50 km/h. Wave heights in the Arabian Gulf may also range from one to over two meters, suggesting relatively calm to choppy sea conditions.
