Gusty Winds and Light Rain Expected in Northern Saudi Regions

Riyadh: Gusty and dust-stirring winds are set to blow across parts of Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and Northern Borders regions, accompanied by light rain. The National Center for Meteorology forecasts that thunderstorms and fog may also affect parts of the highlands of Aseer, Jazan, and Najran regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea are expected to vary, with southeasterly to southerly winds in the northern part, and northwesterly to northerly winds at speeds of 10-30 km/h in the central and southern parts. The sea conditions will be calm with waves ranging from half a meter to one meter.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will initially be westerly to northwesterly, transitioning to northeasterly to easterly in the evening at speeds of 10-28 km/h in the northern part. Central and southern parts will experience northwesterly to westerly winds at speeds of 20-48 km/h. Wave heights will vary from half a meter to two and a half meters, making the sea conditions calm to choppy.
