Riyadh: Residents in various regions of Saudi Arabia are being advised to prepare for gusty winds and potential heavy rainfall this Saturday.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has predicted that Najran, Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions may experience moderate to heavy rain along with hail.

The forecast further indicates that light to moderate winds will affect the Riyadh and Eastern regions. Additionally, dust-stirring winds are expected to impact Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, reducing visibility, particularly along the coastal road to Jazan where it might drop to near zero.

Over the Red Sea, winds are anticipated to vary from southwesterly to northwesterly at speeds of 15-30 km/h in the northern and central parts, and 20-50 km/h in the southern part. The sea conditions are expected to range from calm to choppy with wave heights between half a meter and two and a half meters.

In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will be northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts and will shift to northeasterly to southeasterly in the southern part, with speeds reaching 15-30 km/h. The sea is expected to be relatively calm, with waves ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters.
