Makkah: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather forecast indicating that gusty winds and moderate to heavy rain, along with hail, are expected to affect parts of Makkah, Al-Baha, Aseer, Jazan, and Najran. According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea are expected to vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds reaching speeds of 25-50 km/h in the northern and central parts. The southern part will experience northeasterly to southeasterly winds at 15-45 km/h. Wave heights in the Red Sea could range from one and a half meters to more than two and a half meters, resulting in a sea condition that will vary from calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, easterly to southeasterly winds are forecasted at speeds of 12-45 km/h. Wave heights may range from half a meter to more than two meters, suggesting that the sea will also vary from calm to choppy in this region.
