Gulf air: Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, announced the addition of Cairo, Casablanca, and Chennai to its temporary commercial network operating via King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, with more destinations to be added in the coming days.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the additional destinations complement the airline's existing list of temporary commercial flights via Dammam, which includes London Heathrow, Mumbai, Bangkok, Frankfurt, and Nairobi.

The flights will be available for travel until March 28. Amid the temporary closure of Bahrain's airspace, the move reinforces Gulf Air's ongoing efforts to maintain Bahrain's air connectivity and facilitate travel procedures. The airline will provide ground transportation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam for passengers with confirmed bookings on the flights.

Gulf Air will also assist with issuing transit visas through Saudi Arabia exclusively for passengers traveling to and from Bahrain using the airline's arranged ground transport services.
