Riyadh: Prime Minister of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau Rui Duarte de Barros welcomed in his office Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, who is visiting the country at the official invitation of the president. The two sides discussed topics of common interest.
According to Saudi Press Agency, as part of his visit, Secretary General Al-Issa inspected the MWL's program for performing surgeries for patients in need in Guinea-Bissau, which also provides medicine and health supplies. He also delivered a lecture at the University of Guinea-Bissau on the core values of Islam, attended by prominent Muslim and non-Muslim figures, faculty members, and a large group of students.
