Group of Egyptian youth expats visit command of Egyptian Thunderbolt Forces

The Ministry of Immigration and Egyptian Expats organized Saturday a trip for the students and alumni of Philopateer Christian College based in Canada to the headquarters of the command of the Egyptian Thunderbolt Forces.

Minister Soha Guendi was among the group, which was acquainted with the combat skills of the Egyptian Armed Forces. The minister expressed appreciation for the Egyptian Armed Forces for promoting military awareness among Egyptian youth expats.

A mini-documentary, showing the foundation of the Thunderbolt Forces and its accomplishments over the years, was streamed. The group also attended some of the exercises of the troops, including those of shooting, and visited an exhibition of the equipment and arms used by the forces.

On his side, Commander of the Thunderbolt Forces Major-General Mohamed Abou El Fotouh delivered the greetings of General Commander of the Egyptian Armed Forces Mohamed Zaki and Chief of Staff Osama Askar.
