Gaza city: The Great Nafud Desert south of Rafha Governorate has been revitalized following the moderate to heavy rainfall in Northern Borders Region. The rain transformed the landscape, turning the golden sand dunes into stunning formations and replenishing the land. The cool weather has since made the Nafud a prime destination for desert and camping enthusiasts from inside and outside the governorate.
According to Saudi Press Agency, visitors are now documenting the post-rain beauty and enjoying the clear winter nights. The rainfall has also created new scenery, with water collecting in some locations, making the area a favorite for photography and exploration in the north of the Kingdom.
