Riyadh: Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, and President of the General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Fawzan bin Abdullah Al-Fawzan today received Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh at his office in Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting, the grand mufti commended the ministry's efforts within its scope of work, particularly those related to mosques, emphasizing the importance of its role in guiding people on religious matters in accordance with the tolerant message of Islam.
For his part, the minister congratulated the grand mufti on the Royal trust in appointing him as the Kingdom's Grand Mufti and chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, praying that Allah grant him success in serving Islam and Muslims in line with the noble mission of the council.
