Grand Mosque Sa’i Area: A Modern Operational System Serving Pilgrims

Madinah: The Sa'i area at the Grand Mosque exemplifies the Kingdom's commitment to pilgrim service, providing a seamless environment for the ritual between Safa and Marwa.

According to Saudi Press Agency, spanning a longitudinal distance of 394 meters, this multi-story facility features modern infrastructure, including advanced air conditioning, marble flooring, and multilingual signage. To ensure inclusivity, the area includes dedicated pathways for the elderly and people with disabilities, as well as electric carts for easier mobility.

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques manages the area using precise, real-time crowd density data and flexible operational plans, with field teams working around the clock to maintain safety and flow, particularly during peak seasons like Ramadan and Hajj.
