Jazan: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jazan Region, along with His Highness Prince Nasser bin Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Deputy Governor of the Region, and His Highness Prince Mishaal bin Nasser bin Jalawi, today welcomed well-wishers on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. The gathering included directors of government departments, both civilian and military, governors, heads of centers, tribal sheikhs, and a group of citizens who came to extend their greetings to the governor.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the reception featured a speech delivered by Abdul Latif Alaqi, a member of the Reform Committee in the region. Alaqi emphasized that Eid is a significant religious event, celebrated as a revered ritual, and a time when people naturally gravitate towards festive joy and togetherness.
During the event, poets Issa Jaraba and Abdul Rahman Al-Maliki recited poems, which were appreciated by the attendees. His Highness exchanged Eid greetings with the guests, expressing hopes for continued blessings and prosperity. He extended his congratulations on behalf of the people of the Jazan region to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Highness the Crown Prince, praying for the lasting security and stability of the nation and the protection of its leadership.
