Governor of Eastern Region Inaugurates Digital Transformation Forum

Dammam: Governor of Eastern Region Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz patronized today's opening ceremony of the Digital Transformation Forum. The event, organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, took place in Dammam and was attended by Assistant Minister for Shared Services Ismail bin Saeed Alghamdi, along with several officials and specialists in technology and digital transformation.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the governor emphasized that "the wise leadership of Saudi Arabia places great importance on digital transformation as a crucial element for achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030." This is accomplished by fostering a culture of innovation, embracing smart solutions, and enhancing collaboration between the government and private sectors. These efforts are aimed at accelerating progress and improving the efficiency of institutional performance.

He further noted that digital transformation has evolved from being a choice to an essential requirement for adapting to global changes. "Today, digital transformation serves as a powerful tool for institutions to enhance their competitiveness, create an innovative environment, and build a digital future that reflects the nation's ambitions for advancement and leadership," he said.

During the ceremony, Prince Saud also witnessed the signing of several agreements and memoranda of understanding.
