Makkah: Five government entities convened to discuss their future vision for enhancing the experience of visitors, pilgrims, and Umrah performers during the main session of the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum (UZF). The session, titled "Makkah and Madinah: a Future Vision for Enhancing the Experience of Visitors and Umrah Pilgrims," took place on Tuesday.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the session underscored the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah's commitment to improving its digital infrastructure. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to integrate modern technologies to better serve pilgrims. The discussion revolved around the development of innovative infrastructure, including digital platforms and applications, aimed at accommodating a larger number of pilgrims and enhancing visitor satisfaction.
Further topics included efforts to improve the quality of life in Madinah by transforming it into a smart, human-friendly city. Key initiatives and projects were highlighted, all of which aim to achieve the objectives of the Pilgrim Experience Program. One such initiative is the release of the Madinah experiences guide, which offers the latest practices, initiatives, models, and experiences in serving pilgrims, providing comprehensive information for both residents and visitors during their stay in Madinah.
