Accra:The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), headed by Governor Abdulaziz bin Hassan Al-Boug, has completed a visit to the United Kingdom with the aim of enhancing cooperation, sharing expertise in social insurance, and exploring investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, Governor Al-Boug participated in a Saudi-British roundtable on financial services and investment. This event included Hassana Investment Company, Osool Integrated Real Estate Company, and several British firms such as Future Growth Capital, L and G, and M and G. The discussions concentrated on forming business partnerships and fostering institutional cooperation.
Additionally, the governor met with Economic Secretary to the Treasury Lucy Rigby to deliberate on topics of social insurance and financial sustainability. He also engaged in talks with Barclays Europe CEO Francesco Ceccato regarding social insurance models and fund management practices.
This visit underscores GOSI's commitment to strengthening international partnerships and improving the efficiency and sustainability of the social insurance system in Saudi Arabia.
