Riyadh: International speakers at a session titled 'Media and the Shifting Maps of International Relations,' held as part of the Saudi Media Forum today, underscored the growing role of media in shaping diplomatic relations among states and emphasized the need to enhance trust in media discourse amid rapid global changes. According to Saudi Press Agency, the speakers described diplomatic dialogue among states as a fundamental pillar in building bridges of communication, reiterating that media has become a key partner in supporting this dialogue and strengthening coordination among states in confronting cross-border influences. At the end of the session, the speakers stressed that credibility in media is not optional but essential. They noted that improving media performance requires moving beyond traditional models toward competitive digital platforms while fostering partnerships among leaders, citizens, and media professionals to build a more influential and trustworthy media future.
