Al-Ghaydah: With generous support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), the Kidney Dialysis Center in the Al-Ghaydah District of Yemen's Al-Mahrah Governorate continues to provide vital medical services. In April 2025, the center attended to 126 patients. Of these, 54 patients received a total of 471 scheduled dialysis sessions and eight emergency sessions. Additionally, 75 patients underwent medical examinations and tests at the kidney disease clinic.
According to Saudi Press Agency, males accounted for 46 percent of the patients, while females comprised 54 percent. Displaced persons represented 19 percent of the total, residents 80 percent, and refugees 1 percent. These services form part of the humanitarian initiatives implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to strengthen Yemen's healthcare sector and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
