AMMAN, Nov. 25 (NNN-Petra)–The first Jordanian-UAE Economic Forum will kick off on Wednesday under the auspices of Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour with the participation of private sectors representatives from both sides.

The forum, which will be headed by UAE Minister of Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri and Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Maha Ali, is organized by the Jordan Chamber of Industry.

Maha Ali highlighted in a statement on Tuesday the importance of the event which aims to promote economic cooperation between the two countries in various fields, mainly in trade and investment.

“The gathering, a result of the joint Jordanian-UAE higher committee work, will shed light on the investment opportunities available in both countries,” she added.

The minister noted that the forum will include several sessions and bilateral meetings between Jordanian and UAE business people.
