Future bloc pushes for approving budget, addressing salary scale in rational way

Future” bloc convened on Thursday its weekly meeting at the “Center House” under the chairmanship of former Prime Minister, Fouad Siniora.

The bloc tackled the latest developments in the country.

The bloc urged the cabinet to approve the state budget, refer it to parliament in a bid to study it and agree on it.

“The budget should be approved as well as the salary scale issue should be resolved in a rational manner,” Deputy Mohamad Hajjar said following the meeting.

On the other hand, the bloc stressed the need to hold the parliamentary polls on schedule based on a new electoral law.

The bloc reiterated its “commitment to the hybrid law which has been agreed upon with LF, PSP and a number of independent MPs.”

On another note, Future bloc welcomed the outcome of the Egyptian-Jordanian summit in Cairo two days ago which gathered the Egyptian President, Abdel Fatah Sisi and the Jordanian king Abdallah.

“The bloc stressed the need to abide by the international resolutions and above all resolution 1701,” the Deputy said.

Future bloc denounced Hezbollah leader, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s attack against the Saudi kingdom and the Gulf States.
