Egyptian amb. participates in Egyptian Coptic Festival

Egyptian Ambassador to Canada Ahmed Abu Zeid took part in the second Egyptian Coptic Festival in Canada’s Mississauga city.

Thousands of the Egyptian community members attended the event alongside a representative for the Canadian premier and the head of the Canadian conservative party.

During the festival’s inauguration on Saturday July 13, 2019, Abu Zeid highlighted the importance of the conference which features the Egyptian civilization as well as the Egyptian culture and arts.

He lauded the efforts exerted by the festival’s organizing committee.

The Egyptian Coptic Festival is the 1st and largest event for Canadians from Egyptian Coptic origin in North America.

The event features a journey through history to modern days about the Egyptian Coptic community and its impact.

The event is held in Mississauga Celebration Square, the premium event location in the heart of downtown Mississauga.
