EGYPT TO REOPEN RAFAH CROSSING ON SAT.

GAZA, The Palestinian Borders and Crossings Authority in Gaza announced on Thursday the reopening of Rafah border crossing with Egypt for three days, as of this Saturday.

In a press statement, the authority pointed out that the Egyptian authorities informed it of the move to allow thousands of the stranded travelers to cross from both sides.

The authority added that later on they will release the names of the Palestinian travelers who are crossing from Gaza into Egypt and the priority will be to medical patients, students and visa carriers.

The Egyptian authorities has opened Rafah crossing at the beginning of last month, in which 2,624 travelers were able to cross to Egypt, in addition to 3,095 travelers came back to Gaza who were stranded in Egypt.
