Egypt succeeded to restore its pivotal regional role – Danish ambassador

Danish Ambassador to Egypt Tomas Anker Christensen said that Egypt, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, has succeeded to restore its role as a pivotal country in the Middle East region.

At a meeting with Port Said Governor Adel el Gadban at the City Hall on Wednesday, he praised development efforts undertaken by the government to transform Egypt into a modern state, saying they are internationally admired.

Extolling the relationship binding Denmark with Egypt, he said bilateral relations are at their best.

He also lauded Port Said, touting its economic importance which he described as fundamental for Egypt’s development.

The history of Port Said is very much known across the world, he said, expressing eagerness to get his country to invest in projects in the East Port Said area.

The governor promised to offer any needed facilities to Danish investors in Port Said which, he said, offers very attractive investment opportunities and boasts a unique geographical location on the world’s map.
