General Directorate of Passports Showcases Mobile Counter at LEAP 2026

Riyadh: The General Directorate of Passports, as part of the Ministry of Interior's pavilion, is showcasing its mobile counter at LEAP 2026, held from August 31 to September 3, at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh.

According to Saudi Press Agency, visitors to the ministry's pavilion viewed the mobile counter, one of the latest technologies designed to facilitate travel procedures for older passengers and persons with disabilities. The device enables quick, smooth biometric data capture, facial image capture, and passport data reading without delay, while ensuring the highest levels of security and reliability.

During the exhibition, the directorate is showcasing innovative digital solutions that facilitate passenger movement through international ports of entry, as part of its efforts to enhance digital operations and leverage modern technologies, contributing to service efficiency and improving the beneficiary experience.
