Riyadh: The General Directorate of Civil Defense participated in World Civil Defense Day under the theme "Safe Environment for a Sustainable Future," which falls annually on March 1. The event aims to raise public awareness of potential risks in everyday environments, ways to avoid them, and the importance of implementing safety measures, while promoting a culture of risk prevention to support a sustainable future.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the directorate's participation included organizing awareness exhibitions and various activities across the Kingdom to enhance the culture of safety, demonstrate ways to avoid hazards, and provide the necessary preventive measures.
