Riyadh: The General Department of Traffic offered visitors at the second annual Riyadh Motor Show — held December 9-13 at the Kingdom Arena — the opportunity to experience safe driving using a state-of-the-art driving simulator. The strategic initiative aims to enhance overall traffic safety, reduce accidents, and consequently preserve lives and property.
According to Saudi Press Agency, visitors to the exhibition had the opportunity to use the device, which is also a tool employed in driving schools. The simulator effectively replicates real-world driving scenarios on public roads and provides training on essential safe driving controls, including adhering strictly to speed limits, maintaining sufficient safe distances between vehicles, and properly granting right-of-way at intersections.
