The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque reported that the average time for performing Umrah during Jumada Al-Awwal 1447 AH was 117 minutes, with 92% of Umrah performers completing Tawaf (circumambulation) in the Mataf area at the Grand Mosque.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority stated that the average time for Tawaf was 43 minutes, while Sa'i (walking between Safa and Marwa) averaged 49 minutes. Additionally, moving from the courtyards to the Mataf area took approximately 14 minutes, and the journey from the Mataf to the Sa'i area took about 11 minutes.
It also emphasized its commitment to facilitating the movement of pilgrims within the Grand Mosque and its facilities through careful monitoring, ensuring they can perform their rituals with comfort and peace of mind.
