General Authority for Care of the Affairs of Prophet’s Mosque Increases Preparedness for Ramadan

Medina: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Prophet's Mosque has initiated a series of measures as part of its comprehensive operational plan for the holy month of Ramadan, 1446 AH. These initiatives are aligned with the authority's overarching aim of enhancing the worship experience through quality and innovation while improving operational performance.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the operational plan for the Ramadan season at the Prophet's Mosque emphasizes multiple tracks and scientific and guidance initiatives. This includes 220 Holy Quran memorization sessions and more than 20,000 hours devoted to teaching recitation within the mosque's courtyards. Additionally, 98 daily scientific sessions will cover various Islamic subjects and will be offered in 10 languages to cater to students from different nationalities.

Furthermore, thirty scholars and muftis have been appointed to provide religious guidance. Over 23 cabins have been set up inside and outside the mosque to respond to inquiries and offer guidance.

The primary objectives of the authority's operational plan include serving visitors and enhancing their worship experience by creating an exceptional environment. The plan also aims to communicate the message of the Two Holy Mosques to the world, highlight the virtues of Ramadan, spread the teachings of Islam, and reinforce the Kingdom's leadership in moderate Islamic work. It seeks to enhance the Kingdom's standing in the hearts of Muslims by underscoring its pioneering role in serving the Two Holy Mosques.
