Madinah: April 01, 2024, The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque is intensifying its efforts to ensure that catering companies adhere to strict health and safety standards for the Iftar meals provided to visitors and worshippers at the Prophet's Mosque. This involves thorough monitoring of meal transport vehicles, meticulous checks of the temperature, and proper cooling of meal contents. Additionally, meticulous inspection of the safety and cleanliness of the insulation is conducted, along with assessing the condition of vehicles designated for transporting and storing baked goods. Furthermore, the authority meticulously examines the condition and packaging of the meals, paying particular attention to verifying their expiry date and safety stickers. Additionally, it ensures that workers have access to essential health safety equipment, such as gloves and masks, and that they strictly adhere to the uniform prescribed by the catering company.
