Riyadh: The General Directorate of Border Guard (GDBG) is showcasing an integrated security system to protect the Kingdom's borders during its participation in the World Defense Show (WDS) 2026 in Riyadh.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the system features radar supported by thermal cameras to detect drones and to monitor, identify, and classify moving targets. It also functions as an early warning system for critical facilities and border areas and is fully integrated with command and control systems.

The showcase forms part of the GDBG's participation in the Ministry of Interior pavilion at the World Defense Show 2026, which runs from February 8 to 12. The pavilion highlights advanced security and service technology solutions that enhance the ministry's comprehensive capabilities in decision-making, command and control, predictive intelligence, and security management.

These initiatives reflect the Ministry of Interior's commitment to safeguarding people across the Kingdom and advancing its long-standing mission of smart, integrated, and sustainable security.
