GCC Strongly Condemns Israel’s Despicable Act, Stands in Full Solidarity with Qatar

Albudaiwi: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi condemned in the strongest terms the despicable and cowardly act committed by the Israeli occupation forces on the territory of the State of Qatar. He affirmed that the GCC countries stand in full solidarity with the sisterly State of Qatar and fully support any measures it takes against this treacherous aggression, which violates all international and UN conventions and treaties. According to Saudi Press Agency, Albudaiwi stressed that this obliges the international community to act immediately, assume its responsibilities, and hold the Israeli occupation forces accountable for their brutal crimes, while deterring them from practices that destabilize regional security and stability. He added that the State of Qatar has made valuable efforts to mediate in resolving regional and international conflicts and ending bloodshed, as acknowledged by many disputing parties. He emphasized that Qatar consistently seeks to promote security and stability in the region and the world. Albudaiwi further noted that Qatar's hosting of the negotiating delegation of the Hamas Political Bureau falls within these efforts to achieve a ceasefire, end the crisis in Gaza, and secure the release of detainees, thereby alleviating the suffering of the brotherly Palestinian people.
