GCC Secretary-General Welcomes Kuwaiti Ambassador to Discuss Regional Cooperation

Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi received Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. Sheikh Sabah delivered a letter from Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, inviting Albudaiwi to the third ministerial meeting between GCC and Central Asian countries, planned for April 16 in Kuwait.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Albudaiwi praised Kuwait's role in advancing the council's objectives, highlighting that its initiatives illustrate a commitment to fostering Gulf cooperation and meeting the goals of GCC citizens for enhanced unity and collaboration.

The discussions between Albudaiwi and Sheikh Sabah focused on strategies to bolster joint efforts in Gulf cooperation, in line with the aspirations of GCC leaders. They also shared viewpoints on current regional and international issues.
