Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi has met with Lebanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Fawzi Kabbara in Riyadh, and stressed the importance of strengthening relations between the GCC and Lebanon.
The two officials also discussed means to strengthen the ties in various fields, conform with the GCC Supreme Council 43rd session, held in December 2022, statement affirming the council’s stand in support of the Lebanese people and of Lebanon’s sovereignty, security and stability.
The officials also followed up on the latest developments and topics of common interest in the regional and international arenas.
