Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi received Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Dr. Constantinos Kombos yesterday on the sidelines of the 27th session of the GCC-European Union (EU) Joint Ministerial Council, held in Muscat, Oman, according to a press release from the GCC General Secretariat.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance the development of relations between the GCC and the Republic of Cyprus in several fields, emphasizing the importance of strengthening Gulf-Cypriot friendly relations in a way that contributes to serving common interests.
The two officials also discussed the GCC-EU Strategic Partnership topics of common interest and reviewed the latest developments in the regional and international arenas.
