GCC Secretary-General Praises Justice Ministries for Advancing Regional and International Judicial Standing


Kuwait city: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi affirmed that the GCC ministries of justice’s efforts in supporting the joint Gulf action to upgrade the justice system have earned them a high standing and advanced positions at the regional and international levels.



According to Saudi Press Agency, these remarks came during the 35th meeting of the ministers of justice of the GCC in the State of Kuwait. At the beginning of his speech, the GCC secretary-general extended his gratitude to Amir of the State of Kuwait Shaikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for the sincere and dedicated efforts of the Government of the State of Kuwait in managing and ensuring the success of the joint Gulf meetings during its presidency of this session. He wished the State of Kuwait continued progress, advancement, and prosperity under its wise leadership.



He stated that the meetings, which foster collaboration and good work, reflect the commitment and interest of the GCC leaders to achieve the aspirations of their peoples for more accomplishments in the judicial field. These efforts align with the wise visions of the leaders of the GCC states.



Albudaiwi highlighted the significant efforts made by the GCC states in enhancing judicial integration and the commitment to consolidate the pillars of justice and the rule of law. At the conclusion of his speech, he expressed his thanks for the efforts of the undersecretaries and members of the committee of officials of the departments of international cooperation and international relations in the ministries of justice in the member states. Their work contributes to strengthening the march of joint Gulf action in the judicial field.
