GCC Secretary-General Praises Joint Efforts of Relevant Authorities at Interior Ministries

Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi praised the joint efforts of the relevant authorities at the Ministries of Interior of the GCC states in high-level coordination.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this commendation came during Albudaiwi's visit to the venue of the 18th meeting of the Gulf Committee for the Unified Terrorist List of the GCC states. The meeting, held today, saw the presence of numerous officials from the ministries of interior and relevant authorities across the Council states.

In his address, Albudaiwi referred to the recent directives issued by the GCC interior ministers during their meeting in Riyadh. These directives emphasized the importance of enhancing and intensifying joint Gulf security efforts, especially in response to the unprecedented security developments in the region.

Albudaiwi further expressed his appreciation for the valuable and prompt cooperation between the relevant authorities at the interior ministries. He noted that such collaboration has significantly contributed to addressing all security risks facing the GCC states.

During the meeting, the GCC secretary-general was informed about the committee's efforts to enhance cooperation and coordination among the relevant Gulf authorities.
