Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi met here today with Sweden's Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, Benjamin Dossa, on the sidelines of the 8th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII8) Conference. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance relations and addressed various topics, mainly the outcomes of the first joint ministerial meeting between the GCC and Nordic countries (Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland), held last September in New York. The meeting reflected the mutual desire to expand relations and strengthen strategic cooperation at all levels. Albudaiwi also noted that the discussions included commendations for the efforts made toward cooperation between the two parties through a shared vision, focusing on the political, security, economic, and cultural aspects of this collaboration.
