Kuwait City: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi affirmed that the sports sector in GCC countries has witnessed remarkable development in the levels and numbers of male and female Olympic athletes from the Council states, along with a series of honorable achievements at both regional and international levels. He attributed this progress to the generous patronage and close follow-up by the leaders of the GCC countries and to the great and valuable efforts exerted by the Olympic committees.
