Riyadh: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi received the President of the Korean Internet and Security Agency, Sang Joong Lee, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting involved discussions on potential joint cooperation between the GCC and the Republic of Korea in the areas of cybersecurity and advanced digital technologies. Both parties exchanged views on proposals aimed at developing strategic partnerships.
The GCC Secretary General emphasized the General Secretariat's commitment to enhancing regional and international cooperation. He highlighted the importance of exchanging technical expertise in the field of Internet and cybersecurity to keep up with rapid developments in this essential sector, which plays a crucial role in achieving sustainable development goals within the Cooperation Council countries.
