GCC Secretary General Condemns Attempted UAV Attack on Saudi Arabia by Iran-Backed Militias in Iraq

Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi on Monday condemned the attempted UAV attack targeting Saudi Arabia, launched by Iran-backed militias in Iraq.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Albudaiwi stressed that the attack represents a dangerous escalation, a flagrant violation of international law, and a direct threat to the security and stability of the region.

He reaffirmed the GCC's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures the Kingdom takes to safeguard its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
