Riyadh: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi and Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua discussed the latest preparations for the upcoming trilateral summit between the GCC countries, the ASEAN Group, and China, which will be held next week in Malaysia.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this discussion took place during Albudaiwi's meeting with the Chinese ambassador at the General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh. The meeting focused on reviewing Gulf-Chinese relations and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation to serve common interests.
The discussions also covered the latest developments in the free trade negotiations between the GCC and China, along with other matters of common interest.
