Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi received Director of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Office for the GCC and Yemen, Salah El Din Zaki, at the General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh. The meeting focused on exploring avenues for cooperation in the field of education, aligning with the development goals of the GCC countries and their focus on investing in human capital.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Albudaiwi highlighted the efforts of the UNESCO Office for the GCC and Yemen, emphasizing that such meetings are integral to supporting joint Gulf action.
