New york: Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi met with Jos© Manuel Albares, Spain's Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on topics of mutual interest, including a review of the strategic relations between GCC countries and Spain, and explored ways to enhance cooperation in various fields. They also addressed recent regional and international developments.
The secretary-general acknowledged Spain's humanitarian stance on the Palestinian issue and the crisis in Gaza. He emphasized that Spain's approach reflects values of solidarity and justice, contributing to international efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people and to achieve security and stability in the region.
