GCC-Jordan-Russia Meeting Focuses on Iranian Aggression Against GCC States and Jordan

Manama: The Joint Ministerial Meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jordan, and Russia convened via video conference. Chaired by Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and President of the current session of the Ministerial Council, the meeting aimed to address pressing regional issues.

According to Saudi Press Agency, participants included the foreign ministers of the GCC states, GCC Secretary General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, and Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Daifallah Alfayez. Albudaiwi highlighted that the meeting concentrated on discussing Iranian aggression against the GCC states and Jordan, in addition to reviewing the latest developments in the region.
