Dead Sea: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi met today with Minister of Investment of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Eng. Mothanna Gharaibeh on the sidelines of the First GCC-Jordan Investment Conference, held today in the Dead Sea region. Both sides discussed ways to enhance economic and investment cooperation between the GCC countries and Jordan. They emphasized the importance of developing strategic partnerships and supporting initiatives that contribute to achieving sustainable development for both parties. According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussion also covered the most vital investment opportunities in key sectors, the challenges they face, and ways to address them to enhance competitiveness and attract investments. Albudaiwi emphasized that the joint action plan provides a solid foundation and numerous elements for strengthening trade and investment relations between the two sides. He stressed that the GCC countries are eager to move forward with thei r Jordanian counterparts to achieve the noble goal of bolstering investment, trade, and economic partnerships for the benefit of both the GCC and Jordanian peoples.
