The General Court of Audit (GCA), represented by the Saudi Center for Financial and Performance Auditing (SCFPA), will hold its 19th annual symposium on October 30. The event will address auditing and improving public finance performance through accrual-based accounting principles, featuring participation from local and international experts. The GCA is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the symposium's recommendations and ensuring effective auditing practices. This year's symposium will concentrate on the preparation and auditing of the state's consolidated financial statements, as well as financial planning using accrual accounting to align with the developments in financial systems and legislation introduced by Saudi Vision 2030.
