Riyadh: The General Aviation of Civil Authority (GACA) has concluded its participation in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) fourth Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS) and the UAE Global Sustainable Aviation Marketplace (GSAM). These events were hosted by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority from February 10 to 12.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the events gathered more than 1,500 representatives from ICAO member states. GACA engaged in discussions that centered on important industry priorities. The discussions focused on enhancing innovation and sustainability within the aviation sector. Strategies to increase aviation flexibility and efficiency were explored, with an emphasis on aligning aviation development with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030 and ICAO's "No Country Left Behind" initiative.
