According to Saudi Press Agency, Qasr Al-Khuraymah, located in Al-Murayh District where Diriyah Nights takes place, is among the most prominent landmarks attracting visitors. Built around 100 years ago, the palace reflects the traditional lifestyle and architectural heritage of the region. Constructed using local materials and stone foundations, it has preserved its architectural character and authentic features to this day.
During their tour, visitors from various countries and cultures pass by historic wells that symbolize abundance, prosperity, and generosity, offering a direct glimpse into the depth of local heritage. Diriyah Season has successfully integrated these landmarks with modern touches through international restaurants and caf©s.
These Najdi wells, dug by local residents and built from clay, bricks, and stone, contributed to the flourishing agricultural activity in the area, benefiting from fertile land and abundant water resources.
The historic Diriyah wall also stands prominently before visitors of Diriyah Nights, stretching across the horizon despite the distance. The wall once served as a defensive shield protecting the growing status of Diriyah at the time. Extending approximately 13 kilometers, it begins from Samha in the north, passes through At-Turaif District, and reaches Jabal Al-Qurayn in the south. It was built after the establishment of the First Saudi State as a comprehensive fortification reflecting the importance of the region.
