New york: French President Emmanuel Macron announced his country's recognition of the State of Palestine during his address at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. This announcement was made at the High-Level Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and France.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Macron stated, "This step launches a peace dynamic that meets the needs of all," highlighting that it aligns with similar recognitions by several European countries. He emphasized that the two-state solution will enable peaceful coexistence between Palestine and Israel.
