Abuja: The forum for alumni of Saudi universities in the Federal Republic of Nigeria and surrounding countries has commenced in Abuja, Nigeria. This event is supervised by the Ministry of Education and organized by King Khalid University in collaboration with the University of Tabuk and Najran University.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Nigerian Minister of State for Education Suwaiba Sa'idu Ahmad expressed her gratitude to the government of Saudi Arabia. She acknowledged their ongoing support of international students through scholarship programs that promote learning and knowledge exchange at Saudi universities.
The forum will feature six scientific sessions over three days with 21 speakers specializing in education and scientific research. It will also host over 400 participants, including Saudi university graduates from Nigeria and neighboring countries.
This initiative is a significant effort to strengthen the connection between Saudi universities and their international graduates while observing their positive impact within their communities. It underscores the importance of cultivating a strong Islamic identity amidst modern challenges.
